The location of the hotel was amazing! Under a 5 minute walk to the beach and really close to the downtown area as well. The standout part of our experience was Joy at the front desk. She was so friendly and really went above and beyond so that we had a wonderful time at Tybee Island

My husband and I booked for 5days for our 13yr wedding anniversary, we enjoyed our stay and most definitely and mean most definitely stay here. The vibe is amazing and the room looks just like online. The suite are beautiful. Some rooms got a balcony. It’s beautiful we had a balcony room. The pool was amazing and each staff was great. Shoutout to Ms. Joy a very sweet friendly lady. It’s only a 2min walk to the beach literally it’s right there ?? Food and restaurants was extremely close so you do have to walk far at all. Overall we had an amazing stay and amazing 13yr anniversary weekend ?? we will be back soon.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Sam and Joy were pleasant and accommodating. The location was perfect; all the restaurants and nightlife was proximity to the hotel, and also the beach. My family and I will definitely stay again at the Dunes Inn!

Joy was Awesome. We had a room reserved through Booking.com at the Atlantic hotel. It stated they are pet friendly. When we got there the manager said no cats. We went round and round then he said we have to leave our cat in the restroom and if he saw him in the window he would kick us out. My wife was not having that. I called around and found a room at the Dunes hotel. Joy was so great and so sweet. She helped us and she made are trip so much better. We will stay there again and again. It was great and as I said Joy was Awesome!!

Location is great! Staff is very friendly. The room was good but we did feel the cleaning and tidying of the room and refilling of towels and other necessities was a little bit lacking. But, Joy was an absolute doll! She was very attentive and helpful whenever we needed her. Joy gets 10 stars!!!

Norman & Joy at the desk gave us an incredible check in & checkout Lexperience and was really helpful to show us ways to get around quicker and the fastest way to get to the beach! Would definitely recommend. Only thing i’d have to say is the wifi signal is weak but other than that everything is amazing!

A clean, convenient motel in the heart of downtown Tybee Island, an easy walk to the beach and every restaurant, bar, and storefront in Tybee. The staff was especially gracious and helpful. A real hometown feel. I saw two rooms ( TV one didn't work) and both were beyond expectations. It looks newly refinished. DUNES INN & SUITES just cannot be beat at off-season rates. They have earned the highest rating you have.

This was my 2nd stay at Dunes. I absolutely love the location because it's just a short couple minutes walk to the beach and restaurantsvery close by. The room was clean. And bed was decent. I always get a king room in the annex building in the back. Its not connected to the main building but it feels more private. The staff were are friendly and willing to give recommendations for anything. This will always be my go to place tk stay when visiting Tybee.

For the price, this is the best stay on the island....in my opinion. This is my third time staying at The Dunes. My dog, Dude, goes everywhere with me including vacation! When they say they are Pet Friendly, they mean it!!! They are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. This last visit we reserved a room with kitchenette. I needed a can opener to prepare dinner for my family and we didn't pack one. Kensley, the front desk attendant, went out of her way to have a friend bring one from her home to the hotel;just so I could use it to open two silly cans! Kensley also suggested some places to watch the NY fireworks and help with directions to Savannah on a previous occasion. But that last experience with the can opener just validates my claim that The Dunes is, in fact, the best bang for your buck and red carpet service available on the island!

Great location! Walking distance to the pier, restaurants and the Main Street area of town. The rooms are spotless , beds are comfortable and I found the location of my room to be very quiet (218). I had a mini suite…small fridge, microwave, kitchen sink and ample cups and dishes. I also had a front and back door with a view of the pool. Check in was easy. The staff was friendly and accommodating.I will gladly return!
